Hilton Head Island is Worth the Work. And We’re Just Getting Started.
Over the past four years, we’ve faced challenges, embraced opportunities, and made meaningful progress for Hilton Head Island. Together, we’ve strengthened our community, protected the character of our island, invested in our future, and continued the thoughtful leadership that makes this such a special place to call home.
I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead.
Serving as your Mayor has never been about politics. It’s about people. It’s about listening, bringing different perspectives together, making thoughtful decisions, and ensuring that every choice we make protects what makes Hilton Head Island extraordinary while preparing responsibly for the generations that follow.
We’ve made important progress, but there is still work to do.
We must continue protecting our natural environment, supporting a strong local economy, expanding housing solutions for the people who serve our community, investing in recreation, arts, history, and public spaces, and ensuring that Town government remains transparent, responsive, and accountable.
The momentum we’ve built belongs to all of us.
Hilton Head Island has always succeeded because neighbors care deeply about this community and are willing to work together, even when we don’t always agree. That spirit of collaboration is what has guided my service as Mayor, and it’s what will continue to guide the work ahead.
I remain energized, optimistic, and committed to serving this island with integrity, experience, and a clear vision for the future.
Together, we can continue building a Hilton Head Island that honors our past, protects what we treasure today, and creates opportunities for tomorrow.
